Alta Vista Community Sustainability Group connects neighbors in San Antonio through gardening, environmental education, and community-driven projects. From micro-gardens and native planting to walking groups and food sharing networks, AVCSG promotes resilience, sustainability, and local engagement. Join us to learn, volunteer, and grow a greener, more connected neighborhood together.

The launch of the Sustain Alta Vista website, new Facebook group, and help line to strengthen communication and community engagement. As a Climate Ready Neighborhoods communications POD, AVCSG shares sustainability resources and supports neighbors through education and programs. Upcoming activities include Basura Bash, Garden Club resources, an indoor food pantry, and micro-garden workshops with Bexar County Master Gardeners to promote local food & climate resilience.
